Welcome message

MULTICOMP Aveiro Spring Meeting 2019 will be held at the Reitoria building of the University of Aveiro, Portugal, from 21st to 22nd March 2019. The meeting aims to share information on the emerging field of nano-carbon material composites, including (1) the adequate dispersion of the nano-carbon reinforcement material, and (2) the development of strong enough interfacial bonding between the nano-carbon reinforcement elements and the composite matrix. As MULTICOMP (MULTI-FUNCTIONAL NANO-CARBON COMPOSITE MATERIALS NETWORK) COST Action CA15107 aims to bring together theorists, experimentalists and industrialists in the field of nano-carbon materials technology, the Aveiro Spring Meeting 2019 is especially thought to promote mutual collaborations and define common strategies among the MULTICOMP partners, as well as attract additional scientists and companies into the Action.

All MultiComp members are welcome to attend the meeting, being required to register (no registration fee) and to submit an abstract. COST funding is currently very limited and so only those who have received an Official Invitation from the COST Association can get their travel and accommodation expenses refunded.

All participants are asked to submit an abstract using the following template and contribute to the Oral/Poster sessions. From the abstracts (submitted on time), 29 Flash presentations (5 min + 2 min questions) and Posters will be presented at the meeting. The Local Organizer (LO) will be organizing Lunches (to be paid by Participants who take the offer) and a Conference Dinner (also to be paid for by Participants who take the offer).

Don't miss your chance to join the program – register and submit your abstract before 9th February 2019!

We are looking forward to see you in Aveiro in March 2019.
